If you’re 50+ and you haven’t had your Covid-19 autumn booster vaccination yet, we’re here at St Nicholas, Sutton until just before Christmas. You can walk in or book an appointment – we’ve got plenty of slots. The temporary vaccination centre closes on 23 December so make sure you catch us before we’re gone.
If you’re 50 or above and you haven’t had your autumn booster, feel free to walk in at any time during our opening hours – or book on the NHS website. Our staff are happy to answer questions you might have about the vaccination. If you’re out and about or doing your shopping, do pop by – we’d love to welcome you.
Centre matron, Wendy Dyer
Almost two years after vaccinating its first patients, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, St Nicholas Vaccination Centre will give its final vaccinations on 23 December.
Even once the centre has closed, Covid-19 vaccinations will continue to be available to everyone eligible, for as long as they are needed. You can get vaccinated at GP practices, pharmacies and pop-up venues in Sutton and across south west London.
However, if you’re still due a vaccine dose, catch us before we close, whether you’re in Sutton for Christmas shopping or catching up with friends and family.
If you’re eligible for the vaccine you can book online at nhs.uk or walk in but check times and days first as the centre offers children’s polio vaccinations only during some sessions.
Angeline Jarratt, 60, who is a carer, recently got her autumn booster jab.
She said “the reason I got my booster vaccination was to protect myself and the people around me from catching COVID-19.
On a personal note, my husband and I will be doing some travelling and we will be exposed to different environments when we go on our journey, so we are thinking about ways to protect ourselves against the viruses.”
Angeline Jarrett is encouraging others who are eligible to do the same. She added “For those eligible, I would highly recommend that they have both jabs, because they will offer them and the people around them protection.
You can have the autumn booster if you’re aged 50+, if you’re pregnant, a healthcare worker or at risk because of a health condition – read more.
