Measles cases are rising across the UK and London has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the UK. Protect your child, yourself and your community with free MMR vaccines available now across south west London.
Measles is highly contagious and can cause serious complications at any age, including pneumonia, meningitis and, in rare cases, death.
The good news: the MMR vaccine is safe, free, and effective and it’s never too late to catch up.
Who can get the MMR vaccine?
The NHS offers the MMR vaccine for free to:
- All children aged 4 to 19
- Young people with special educational needs (SEN) up to the age of 25
- Anyone of any age who hasn’t had both doses of the vaccine
If you’re not sure whether you or your child are up to date, check with your GP. It’s safe to have an extra dose if records are unclear.
