1 in 3 adults in the UK have high blood pressure.
High blood pressure is responsible for more than half of all strokes and heart attacks in the UK.
Around 4.1 million people are living with high blood pressure in England and don’t know it. Because high blood pressure often has no symptoms, the best way to find out is to get it checked.
That’s why the NHS is making it easier than ever for people to get their blood pressure checked for free and to help find those at a hidden risk of stroke or heart attacks.
