The Merton Podiatric Surgery Service, provided by Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH), will end on Sunday 15 February 2026.
From this date, patients in Merton will continue to have access to podiatric surgery through alternative local NHS providers.
GPs will continue to be the main point of contact to make sure patients get the right advice and care they need.
What this means for patients
- Between 16 September 2025 and 15 February 2026, the service will focus on post-operative follow-up care for patients who have already had surgery. Any new referrals after this date will be directed to alternative providers.
- From 16 February 2026, the service will close, all Merton patients continue to be referred to alternative providers.
Accessing podiatric surgery after February 2026
Patients who need podiatric surgery after this date will be referred by their GP to the service. Please speak to your GP to understand your nearest provider.
