South west Londoners eligible for the Covid-19 spring booster are being urged to come forward before the seasonal vaccination campaign ends on Friday.
Friday 30 June is the last chance for people to get their spring booster and local GP Dr Nicola Jones is calling on them to book the jab as soon as possible.
That date is also the last opportunity for people yet to have their first or second Covid-19 vaccine dose to come forward. After this, the NHS is moving to a targeted seasonal offer for those at increased risk.
If you have not yet taken up the offer, you have just a few days left until the programme closes, so please make sure you book your jab.”

There are plenty of appointments available at sites across south west London and beyond – you can book a jab online.
The campaign started in April and around 6.6 million nationally are eligible in line with advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), which includes people aged 75 and over, people aged five and over with weakened immune systems and older adult care home residents.
Dr Jones said: “If you have not yet taken up the offer, you have just a few days left until the programme closes, so please make sure you book your jab.
“If you have had only one Covid vaccine so far, or none at all, it is not too late. You can get vaccinated quickly and easily until 30 June, after which the offer will become more targeted, like the regular flu vaccine.
“It couldn’t be easier to get your jab, with clinics open across south west London and I would urge anyone eligible to get this extra protection.”
More than 3.6 million Covid-19 vaccinations have been delivered in south west London over several campaigns since the first jab was given in December 2020 and the NHS has delivered almost 64,000 boosters in south west London during this campaign.
This latest vaccination is being offered to those considered most at risk, following JCVI advice.
Those invited should make sure their appointment takes place at least three months since their last dose.
Anyone who believes they should be eligible for a vaccine but does not get invited can check online. Alternatively, they can self-declare via the National Booking Service and then speak to a clinician on site.
Covid-19 vaccinations for everyone who was aged five on or before 31 August 2022 will also end after that date, following recent advice from the JCVI.
After 30 June, the NHS offer will become more targeted.
