WorkWell is a free service for people with a health condition or disability who need support to stay in work, return to work after sickness absence, or move into work.
You do not need to be claiming benefits to use WorkWell.

WorkWell may be able to help if you are:
- in work and finding it difficult to manage because of a health condition or disability

- a voluntary or community organisation
- another local health or support service
Information on how to refer yourself to this service will be available soon.
How does WorkWell work?
Once you have been referred, you will meet with a Work and Health Coach.
Your coach will take time to understand your situation, what matters to you and the support you need. Together, you will agree a practical action plan to help you work towards your goals.
Your coach may support you to:
- access relevant health, wellbeing, mental health, employment or community services
- manage health-related barriers that are affecting work
- plan a return to work after sickness absence
- explore work options, training or local employment support
- understand workplace adjustments that could help you stay in work
With your permission, your Work and Health Coach may also speak to your employer. They can help explain your return-to-work plan and discuss practical support or reasonable adjustments that may help you at work.
Your coach will meet with you regularly to review what is working, update your plan and agree the next steps.
